Stand down this afternoon so I hung around the flights for a couple of hours waiting for Kirsch to come over but he didn’t show up. He phoned me at noon and said he had an airtest and would come over. He has eleven in now.

I’m a Flight Lieutenant now as of four this afternoon. Chatt, Alldridge, Hill, Garside and myself. Went to show on the camp tonight “39 Steps” – good.

Heard from Mom and Barb this morning and wrote Mom tonight.
