Tony - Kovacich, Canadian air bomber in Chatterton’s crew in 115 Squadron at Witchford

Ed - Chatterton, Canadian pilot and friend of Johnston’s in 115 Squadron at Witchford
July 19, 1944 (Wednesday)

Got up at noon and went up to the flights. Made the discovery today that I’m the senior flight officer of the flight! Might be in line for promotion soon, you never know – in another month or so that is.

Saw that the kite was OK then had a haircut and I’ve been sitting around trying to write a letter since – despite the antics of the two madmen of the hut - Tony and Ed. No mail today.
