Flights - Operational offices and control centre for the squadron
Nugie - Nugent, Canadian pilot and friend who trained with Johnston, and was later posted to 15 Squadron at Mildenhall
Got eight now - Has completed eight bombing missions

July 29, 1944 (Saturday)
Woke up about 2 p.m. Went up to the flights but I’m not on. Finished a letter to Mom and I got a parcel of chocolates this afternoon.
Heard from Nugie and he’s got eight now, doing fine he says.
Went to see a Canadian sponsored show this evening – the Macordials – very good.
