March 4, 1944 (Saturday)

No flying today. On tonight for night flying. Sat around all day. Did a few odd jobs, Link, had pictures taken (escape photos).

Take off set back till midnight so wrote to Mom and Barb. Got two ordinary letters from Barb – good show. Sat around from ten o’clock on.

Had night flying supper at midnight and a few minutes later they scrubbed it for good.

Had a real blizzard tonight between 7:30 and 10:00. Everybody came in absolutely plastered with snow.
