May 2, 1944 (Tuesday)
Got a parcel from Aunt Jean and a letter from Dean today – no Canadian mail.
Dean has had a file stuck in his knee apparently and has gone to sick bay. Didn’t have much else of news interest, he’s going to be OK I guess.
Bob is supposed to be out Friday according to the latest gen. Hope so.
Wrote Barb, Mom blueforms and Ria Matteson and Aunt Jean airgraphs.
Had supplementaries today – did Navigation all afternoon (there’s a lot I’d forgotten). A terrific wind sprung up today.
