May 4, 1944 (Thursday)
Usual day today. Lectures in the morning, but had the afternoon off. Haven’t done a darn thing all day. No mail today and I don’t feel like writing anyone when I’m not getting anything.
Kirsch got a reply today from Jeannette – telling him to “grow up”. I think it was called for myself – he’s childish about all the women he knows!
