Braid - Expect this is the ribbon sewn on a uniform sleeve to indicate rank

Raining off and on all day and very cold out tonight – just like a fall night back home.
Went into Bury on Mr. G’s bike this afternoon and bought some braid and a new watch strap. Taught the Goughs how to play Euchre tonight.
